Much thanks goes to the following conference
sponsors: Without their support this fabulous program would
not be
possible.
OFRI
The Oregon Legislature created
the Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) in 1991
to improve public understanding
of the state’s forest resources and to
encourage environmentally sound forest management
through training
and other educational programs for forest landowners.
OFRI is funded by a dedicated harvest tax on
forest products
producers.
OSU
OSU's roots go back to 1858 when it was established
as a private academy in Corvallis. College-level courses
were added in 1865 and the first degrees were awarded
in 1870.
A land grant university, OSU was designated as Oregon's
state-assisted agricultural college in 1868. Sea grant,
space grant and sun grant designations came later, making
OSU one of only two universities in the nation to hold
all four titles.
For more than 100 years, OSU has had a three-fold mission
of teaching, research, and service to the people of Oregon
and the world.
Special thanks to the following:
- Vice-Provost
for Academic Affairs and International Programs
- Extended Campus (ECampus),
a division of Outreach and Engagement
